Description of CCA
Our Choir comprises of pupils from Primary 2 to Primary 6. We have a total enrolment of more than 40 pupils in the choir and they range between 2 vocal ranges, namely Soprano and Alto. Pupils learn and perform a wide genre of songs through singing, appreciating world culture music and performing creatively through their musical expression.
The members of the choir never fail to improve on their singing skills and continue to go through the training process of vocalization, voice play, pitching, rhythm and musical note-reading. Through this vigorous process, pupils will learn the values of discipline, resilience, teamwork and responsibility. Under the dynamic musical tutelage of award-wining choral conductor, Ms Lim Hui Min, OLN Choir continues to explore and break new ground in Singapore’s school and choral landscape.

Combined CHIJ Concert - Te Deum
The choir girls participated in a combined CHIJ concert known as Te Deum on 2 August 2014. They have demonstrated resilience and perseverance during rehearsals particularly on the actual day of performance. Despite clocking a total of 12 hours to rehearse and perform for the matinee and gala concert, the girls continued to maintain their positive and bubbly disposition throughout that day. The skills of resilience and perseverance instilled have endowed the girls with a positive attitude to take on future challenges, which are the manifestation of our school’s vision ‘Girls of Today, for Tomorrow’.
