OLN 360
OLN 360 is a programme unique to CHIJ OLN where our P3 to P6 students explore and experience success in a range of authentic activities, apply learning beyond the classroom, develop their Learning Dispositions and grow in our school’s GRACIA values. This 4-year programme is delivered via 4 modules each year.
Have a Heart! (HaH)
Challenging students to view and apply learning beyond the confines of the classroom, Have a Heart (HaH) ignites curiosity about social and environmental issues. Complemented with thinking skills and authentic learning opportunities, P3 to P6 students acquire empathy and a problem-solving mindset which they use to make a positive difference through creating awareness, advocacy & action.
Pockets of Joy! (PoJ)
Pockets of Joy Programme (PoJ) equips our students with life skills in the 4 key modules of Speech, Behaviour, Dressing and Dining. Through interactive, fun activities and authentic learning experiences, students develop the skills and knowledge for effective communication, better self-management, and awareness, making informed decisions and cultivating resilience to navigate life’s challenges. Students are also empowered to demonstrate graciousness, lead change, and make a positive difference to the people around them.
Ready, Steady, Go! (RSG)
Ready, Steady, Go! (RSG) seeks to develop the student’s can-do spirit through learning to play various sports in a competitive setting. Through interclass competitions and authentic learning experiences, students are taught various sports that are not in the PE curriculum. They learn to value an active lifestyle, develop values such as sportsmanship, teamwork and to be adaptable in the face of challenges.
#thinkER (think & Evaluate Responsibly)
Our #thinkER module within the OLN360 curriculum complements cyber wellness values by addressing various aspects of digital literacy, online safety and responsible digital behavior. Together, they equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital landscape confidently, critically assess information, and interact with others in a positive and respectful manner.
